I don’t get it. Has to be something else. Who can find out for certain?

Christie Harkin formerly of BM, now editor at Coindesk is a CSW expert (not out of choice)

The High Court should be able to make an order for him to reveal the source of his funds. An aggressive law firm would have already asked this and put “Power Sue” pressure on him.

Where’s #[5] ?

Can something be done about Craig from a legal perspective?

Yes, but it would have to be done jurisdiction by jurisdiction, starting with a successful case against him in the US/EU, and then with that in hand, dismantle his fraudulent Patent applications and anything else he is fraudulently claiming, making the UK courts an outlier globally. That would cause them to capitulate, and if not, render their judgments severely localized and not recognized in any civilized court.

This would mean a very aggressive legal firm going scorched earth everywhere but Britain. Coinbase can certainly afford it on its own, never mind with all the other COPA members joining in. Faketoshi is weaponizing weak courts where justice is not available to secure judgements that he is using in other jurisdictions. If he can do it, anyone can.

We the community need to take him down in court for the sake of everyone.

Jack, Saylor and miners along with plebs should start out a fund to pay for lawyers in order to dismantle all his rethoric.

Financially we could make him capitulate and stop his legal endeavors.

Make him pay for what he has done before it’s too late.

Please stop being stupid.

we the community is cringe

100% CORRECT.

Cringe is labeling things as cringe just bc you can’t handle words

Bro who cares he can’t do anything to bitcoin even if he wins

That’s if you think Bitcoin will last without core developers maintaining it

There will always be core devs, more will come

I’m afraid that you’re quite wrong about this. Developers don’t grow on Merkle Trees and great ones are very rare.

I understand your perspective but I disagree. Nature hates vacuums, where a vacuum is created naturally it becomes filled. There’s a lot of people out there doing a lot of stuff… you never know where the next bitcoin core dev is gonna come out of the woodworks.

Maybe sometime zaps will get integrated into GitHub or something and there will

Be financial incentive to be a core dev (obviously speculating)

I just disagree completely with the narrative that “oh man if he wins BTC is screwed” narrow view imo

This is not Twitter where saying, “I disagree” has any meaning. And your idea of “Narrow View” belongs in Etherium, so I suggest you take it, and zourselvef there.

The phrase “I disagree” does have meaning. And the meaning doesn’t change based on the medium it is written on 🤷‍♂️ (doesn’t even make sense logically)

The meaning is that I don’t agree with you 😁

Also I’m not a shitcoiner, thanks. Weak & unsophisticated Ad-hominem with no substance, veryyyyyy narrow take bro. This narrow 🤏🏻

Suggest all you want, you have your beliefs and I have mine

Just zapped you because I can, cheers buddy maybe one day you’ll broaden your mind 🧠⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Get BROAD bro 😎

Your money’s no good here, “bro”, take your broad minded SJW garbage to someone gullible enough to think you can think. Have a nice weekend, “bro”!

Lol where do you get your SJW

Care to address any of my actual points or wanna just be narrow? 😜

Will look into it

The time has come

Do let us know what you find out. My bet is on Mark Fernandez of Malta.

Please do. Keep us updated. This guy is a terrorist.

and why is he doing all of this at all? what is the purpose? it‘s crazy.

It’s not crazy at all; you just don’t understand it. If he can prove in court that he is the owner of Bitcoin, then he can use the court to force changes to it, and extort companies through the fraudulent Patents he has managed to secure. He will make a fortune. How can you not know this?

i just don‘t think that he can prove anything

You’re not paying attention. He doesn’t have to prove anything. That’s the problem, genius.

thank you

I don’t know this, the courts can stop bitcoin?

Please don’t be stupid.

I think the court can order it, github can enforce the repo change, but nodes will continue to validate transactions and not many will update to such a ridiculos version. Those that do will make a fork that will - like the rest - over time trend to 0.

I am way out of my lane here and probably naive about this but assuming he wins and declared by court the owner of Bitcoin, he would then technically own a million coins, but it would make us all shareholders as well. With a million he would not even own 51%, he'd have no control still to make any changes. He'd be rich probably assuming he even has access to them.

Other parts of the world are not really following this story but i assume there is more to this than just my simple approach

Your mistake is thinking there is a “court”. US courts don’t recognise UK judgements. This is taking place in an irrelevant venue, a UK Court, which has no power outside the UK.

Not only that, but imagine I’m trying to make a judgment on bitcoin… OK let’s go tell Mr. Satoshi to make the changes we need…

Oh, wait, you can’t… Consensus will immediately swat that shit out

Imagine *them* not I’m 🙄

Great to see this conversation actually taking place.

I fear it would have been softly ‘memory holed’ on legacy centrally controlled social networks.

Was wondering this since day 1.

First I thought he was burning his own money. But maybe not.

Mark Fernandez.

Being an Aussie he might be have the ‘Atlassian’ guys behind him?

if that’s even his real name…

To find a paper trail, research the designated fall-guy. Shoaib Yousuf.

Real estate.

Wouldn't surprise me if he's just the public clown for the military industrial complex atack on Bitcoin. There's no way an individual would have this many resources and stamina.
