so, it looks like there were protests that started prior to the social media ban that were triggered by widespread anger over corruption, nepotism, and economic issues... then the social media services were shutdown and the shiznit hit the fan... 19 people died.
nepal should have learned by now that all you need to do is give the people a study stream of entertainment and food, and the government can get away with anything.
