i agree with you that **strategically**, resisting arrest is a poor choice and i wouldn't recommend it. it WILL get you shot and everyone knows this (whether that is reasonable or legal is a different story). but the fact of the arrest itself, and the wider context that preceeded this event... that's where i place the "blame", broadly.
