Todavía no gasto, hay muchas gratuitas

What do you use and what for?

Maybe just 5-10 bucks a month to ppq.ai and that's it.

What do you use it for?

As a coding assistant mostly. For first drafts of unit tests and code. But I almost never use what it generates without heavy editing.

Been playing with Ollama / Open Web AI locally. Looks interesting. Previously OpenAI. Also use GitHub Copilot.

I just got into Galaxy dot ai and there's about 200+ tools to tinker with for only 15$ a month.

nostr:nprofile1qqsv695mmraa29u792x5nrlux8f6urjqsf0l9w9gt634n3z9tgg8e2q0jfx04 just introduced me to http://ppq.ai and I think I’m about to spend a whole lot less!

Grammarly's AI for editing school papers, but it's included in my school fees somewhere.

Brave's Leo sometimes for finding academic sources. The free version sucks, so I haven't upgraded.

I've installed some local open models. They're slow on my hardware, but some of them have been useful.

You can use Google’s experimental models free of charge through their API. Open-WebUI is a solid frontend.

What do you use them for?

Anything you would use any LLM for. Coding, writing, editing, etc.

Cline, Continue, Cherry Studio - all on Ollama.

Selfhosted, selfsovereign, independent and offline.

Not always the greatest, but certainly helpful. ^^

One only needs poe.com

Gives you access to a million tokens and any model LLM u want

Use it for developing lessons and sometimes artwork. I'm a teacher

Ok. Sound like super basic needs. Makes sense

10,000 tokens per day at their prices doesn’t sound like much - very basic use

PPQ, Trymaple, Replit, Kagi, Gamma, Cursor

Dang. How much is this all costing you?!

PPQ is 2 dollars every once in a while, Maple is 2.99 a month, Cursor is 20 kagi is 4.99......gotta cancel Gamma i think its 10.

$20/month on Claude AI. Works incredibly well for assisting in various application development tasks

You use Claude in web? Curious why pay the subscription instead of credit based usage?

$0 I don't use them

What do you do professionally?

Programming, check my last project forgejo-guardian, which is begin used by codeberg.org 🚀

git.4rs.nl/awiteb/forgejo-guardian

Monthly:

- chatgpt pro ($200)

- replit agent (depends on usage)

- Claude pro ($18) + API usage

- perplexity ($20)

- Grok with X premium ($10)

Wow, what do you use all the pro tools for?

copilot,

cursor,

chatgpt premium,

grok.

work pays like $250 a month.

I pay $20 a month.

also self hosted llama3

$20 / month cursor

$25/ year perplexity (ebay sub)

What’s ebay sub

You can buy a year subscription for perplexity pro from eBay for ~$25

Stolen CC?

No, I believe it’s a promotion from T-Mobile in Europe that someone is taking advantage of. Maybe the cost of a phone line is less than $25 and they sell the sub and pocket the diff?

$120/yr; just Replit.

You ever run out of credits? Is there a limit?

only 1 tool, why would I need more? doesn't chatgpt and most ai tools do everything?

I'm paying 20 a month for chatgpt. I thought about switching to grok because I heard there is less censorship but so far chatgpt is working good for me and i use it to chat about things and help me with Linux sever problems. That's all I really use it for. Not sure what other ai tools I need

Perplexity free tier. Just speeds up my searches and creates custom random configs for me

I am afraid to check

Same. I spent way too much on Cline 😬

I have not found any AI tool that is worth subscribing to or paying fees for

What did you try using them for?

0 and 0. Read about how AI makes people impair their cognitive skills and I’m trying to retain what little I have 😂 but seriously my goal this year is to switch from search engines to AI tools so I at least learn how they work

Yeah I’m curious how it’ll impact long term knowledge and memory.

zero so far, still experimenting before committing cash. besides, looks like Foss projects are on pair and sometimes better than commercial ones.

just experimenting so far but Claude, Grok and Perplexity each one for various projects and use cases have all been very productive. The other LLMs were not on par.
