I’m sure that the ability to communicate intent, desire, and reason clearly and concisely face to face is still a good enough reason to maintain the educational standard. As soon as we’re beyond meat, maybe, but we just climbed down from the trees and still need to understand ourselves and others.

Body language is the most efficient way of communicating. But since we end up communicating through text more often than not, you have to get really specific to communicate the subtlety that is missing from conversation that is face to face. Its not very natural. Emojis are a sort of place holder for body language to help convey a thought. 🤪

Agreed, prose is often the wrong format for communicating ideas. There are other writing styles like bullet points, outlines, or trees we should prob be using more often.
