My friend had a large party today, with about 60 people for his son's graduation party. My friend's Blackstone wasn't working properly, it wouldn't get hot, so I took over for him so he could host and greet family.
I ended up fixing the Blackstone, their was a problem with the propane regulator pressure IMO, and I cooked about 60 burgers and probably two dozen hotdogs. It was fun! 🤣 That Blackstone was awesome.
I love my Weber grill, but man that thing is nice.

I never cooked on one before. As a cast iron fan, I loved the griddle.

I've had propane regulator issues before too. Apparently if you open the propane tank valve too quickly, it'll trip an internal safety that limits the flow. Quick fix is to just disconnect, reconnect, and open slowly.
long time weber man myself and picked up a blackstone a year ago. love having the huge griddle.
we gave my father-in-law a napoleon grill as a present ... even though i'm a weber fanboy 🤣 the grills are just as good
Blackstone seems like the ideal medium for hosting. Think I like having something with charcoal or direct flames on the day to day without guests though!

That’s like you totally saved the day! Nothing like stepping in, fixing the grill, and feeding a crowd, talk about MVP. Those Blackstones really are beasts when they’re working right. I’m a Weber fan too, but now you’ve got me curious :)
Neighbor has a smoker that wasn’t working and he was going to toss it out. Took a voltmeter and isolated the issue to the on/off switch. A spider layer eggs and the sack was blocking the contacts. You would think that an out door smoker would have a sealed switch 🤷🏻♂️.

Giant griddle is nice but I think Blackstone itself is a wobbly piece of junk and I wouldn't buy that brand again.
