Why does it feel like the US has been stuck in time with NYE firework shows?
I’m seeing dragon drone shows in Shanghai, the world’s largest firework explode in Japan and multiple venues around the world with jaw dropping pyrotechnics.
Meanwhile we get the same old ball drop. 🫠

Fireworks are literally burning money. The US is far, far ahead at this game. We just use a different source and ignition for display.

Reminder that the USA is stuck in a 1950’s timeline that creates conflict to gather wealth from war They fail at healthcare. They fail at basic budgets. So the ball drop is the best you will get.

It’s borderline offensive as it pertains to tradition.
Speaking from a 4 generation family business where tradition is our heartbeat. It’s just a weird look.
