Modern man is already so disenpowered. The average person could not build or even maintain the systems that make their lives possible. This is convenient and comfortable, but it comes with costs.
Not saying a skilled person using AI to optimize menial tasks is bad. But many more will use it and never develop the skills they otherwise would have, leading to a decreased average skill level in a population.
Maybe the benefits outweigh the costs. We are certainly going to find out!

If this is global, a lot of those deaths likely come from diseases transmitted by dogs like rabies, and from feral dogs attacking children.

Also full self driving, sustainable (runs off of grass), and if you have two, they will keep making more of themselesves for you forever.

Personally, I don't think I ever would. Most of the stuff on this list could be accomplished with biology (with the obvious exception of the last two), all without introducing the risks of trying to integrate mechanical and biological systems. Cybernetics is the false path in the tech tree! Genetic engineering is the way!

Have you heard of gell-mam amnesia? I find chat gpt to be modertly accurate and often incredibly wrong. I agree that search is mostly broken, but I've seen way to many mistakes from chat gpt to trust if for most things.

Personally I like unchanging traditions as they ground us and connect us to the past. Also showing off is offensive to my puritan values.
