Nice day, no rain.
Ever since I tore my meniscus I try to walk backwards up hill at least 3 times a week. Easiest way to keep the knees nice and lubricated.

Always learning from you

Backwards walking equipment was making a grand appearance at the gym I toured recently.
Ben Patrick of ATG training a few years ago took over the world. Everybody has to catch up. Most of his stuff can be done simply at home.
Been seeing this stuff everywhere for years. I believe they’re called “treadmills”. Most people use them in the forward position tho.
Sounds about right. Except can’t market a ‘new and improved’ treadmill for big sales, so they came out with something new.
Haha true
PS, check out my new toilet design

Yes! I just discovered backwards walking and other atg exercises from knees over toes guy on YouTube. They have been helpful rehabbing my knee (meniscus). Starting to think my running career is not over. Light trail running feels good after atg warmup exercises.
I made a sled out of a barrel rack and swing for pulling backwards to add resistance.

walking backwards is amazing for knee strengthening!
I’ve started doing this too. I really feel a difference in my knee health!
Wow, I had no idea this was a thing outside of China.
It’s definitely been popularized by the knees over toe guy on youtube! He has a video of his journey of understanding how some people/cultures have strong knees(?) and then he applies his learnings into a protocol to fix his knees. If i remember correctly he went from not being able to play basketball ever again to being able to dunk!
Huge fan of knees over toes!
