Hey guess which airline I won’t be flying. Probably all of them when they start copying this approach.

It's all so tiresome

πŸ’―

Thats bollocks. πŸ˜’πŸ’€ i guess ill swim to Croatia for my next vacation πŸ˜’βœ¨οΈπŸ€£πŸ––

🀣😭

I stopped flying when they started coercing all the idiots into complying with biometric facial scans.

It's unbelievable how many retards there are that go along with that. Pretty much everyone is retarded.

That’s some evil shit right there.

β€œYou’re desperate. Pay more!”

Imma use a different email every time I book a ticket πŸ˜‚

Need a privacy preserving travel agency 😭😭

About to email all my contacts a long rant why I will NEVER PAY MORE THAN $69 FOR ANY FLIGHT EVER. Don’t matter who died.

You should try this with your memes brother. Use AI to see which memes will earn the most Sats. πŸ€·πŸ˜‚

Bahahaha

πŸ€πŸ˜‚

It seems that the dead internet theory will have a spillover.

Airlines have always done this, adding AI just means they will no longer understand why they charged someone more than double their neighbour πŸ˜‚

I need to learn how to convince their AI that I’m a cheapskate. πŸ˜‚

After my extensive testing of ChatGPT, trying to convince it to edit my grandfathers book, retaining the olde English from the turn of the last century, that won't be hard πŸ˜‚

AI to price algo: this guy will never pay more than 10 bucks and we will never sell all seats on this flight, give him 10 bucks ticket.

Damn

I don’t fly much as it is. I’ll just not go at all at this rate πŸ˜‚

It’s just so predatory. Won’t stop me, but will make me find ways around their β€œbots” if there are any!

This is one of the things about AI that concerns me the most. It’s a privacy nightmare

knives are a security nightmare

Wonderful.

Get fucked. Thats awful

People are slaves to their data and don't even know it.

Dynamic pricing based on user behavior is already happening and has for many years.

Prices on hotels, car rentals, airline tickets, etc. vary based on browser, location, how many times you've looked up prices and tons of other variables.

It's common knowledge in the industry that apple users (in general) for example are villing to pay more than other groups. Uber is also doing this to maximize earnings.

Tried this ~10 years ago for car rental overseas, the cheapest price was VPN into the destination country and an WinXP/IE user agent. Most expensive was VPN to a high cost country and a Mac/Safari user agent. IIRC it was a 2-3x increase in price.

I don't move outside a 1000km circle, ever. No passport. Anything outside of northeast United States is a foreign , hostile land.

Who'da thunk airlines would go fully satanic once credit card points alchemy lost steam as their profit center?

That is a diabolical policy. Charge you more, when they know you need a ticket for an emergency…

This should herald the return of the travel agent! Those intermediaries were made expendable by the internet and the ability to book your own flights, but now a travel agent may be able to negoitate a rate for its clients and then book same for that rate plus a commission. Holy back to the future, Mcfly.

with fingerprinting, will soon need a separate sterile PC just to buy stuff

Here is the irony: I use an actual human travel agent for all my trips. The deals he get are WAY better than anything available online anyways. Always first/business class only. Absolutely worth it!

AI and surveillance capitalism are designed to keep every person working and without savings until they die, regardless of how frugal they are and how much money they can make.
