You’ve heard of follow packs, but have you heard of mute packs?
If not, it’s probably because they don’t exist, but they should 😂

100% they should
Everyone's mute list is public, so we could use that as a start. Just saying
So are lists on Listr.lol . I just think these are be another way for people to explore.
TIL 🫂
Didn't mute lists become private or something? Not sure.
But Nostrudel had muting and muted by tabs which were sort of curious.
Doesn’t Nostrudel still have that?
it has 'muted by' but i'm pretty sure it used to have a 'muting' tab too. There is a mute list in the Lists section tho. I don't know why, but I think mutes can be private nowadays so may not be accurate or something (i'm not certain at all about this)
Ohhh okay. I thought they were always public
What I don’t get is this… there’s some client that has “follow user’s mutelist” as an option. Why on earth is there not an option to MUTE a user’s mutelist? That seems a much more useful option.
I have to believe it just mutes all the users on that list for your account, too. I hope it’s just poorly worded.
😂
in primal settings you can add other users' mute lists
in general i think nostr apps should take advantage of the fact that mute lists are public, more
some interesting tooling you could build around them
Mute lists are not public per se. The nip allows both public and private entries. It's just very differently implemented by clients.
Ban lists need to be implemented at the relay level, and they should exchange them, constantly updating. There should be a group of "white hat" curators to guide the system. Let's make Nostr safe!
🫢
Actually, they have existed for a long time. There was even a list for exchanging between relays.
Definitely - I’m going away from X because of the constant spam/bots. I don’t need the same over here.
Did anyone hear something? Might have been an ultrasonic squeeking? Like a bat might make?
