only say the number - leave the reasoning for later so other ppl can guess too 👀

20?

Yeah 20..

I saw huer 18 there 😂

Had to double check the I got 20

Yeah 1*2+2*3+3*4 = 2+6+12 = 20

That +25 for the entire top layer

Oh fack yup, genius

same here initially.. but after pondering and bc there's no dimensions given, there's already a full cube in it: one block - so zero more blocks needed

noh hue

37

Oh it's 20! I dunno how I got 12 🤣😂😅

it's also not 20, but 12 and 20 are common first answers

Damn 😂😂 I was all 'i cracked the code' 😅🤣 lemme go back to the lab, brb

18?

Is it 12? 👀😯

20

Yeah 20

🧠

🤟🏾

💯

Well

1, 8, 27, 64 or 100 depending on your definition of cube

what's the definition of a cube

Well one of those blocks alone is itself a cube🤷🏽

then you would've include zero too?

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmm

I hadn't thought of 0 being the answer I was just giving you the dimensions 🤷🏽

Normally we all miss 0 don't we?

Ironically it is from 0 that the cold depths of multiverse energy might be tapped🤷🏽

ZERO IS EVERYTHING

On a macro/microcosm level. One block itself forms a cube, within what you have here, 4 blocks can make a cube, 27,

The dimensions themselves make a recipe rather than a cube unless you add another layer. And that extra layer can just be one fractal of a block for an even more enormous cube🤷🏽 ad infinitum

So like... What are the parameters?

by this reasoning, the only right correct answer is you need 0 more

i do not disagree

12?

20

60

how did you come at 60 ser

Hail Mary because I saw it when time was already up 😂🤣

Zero. It’s already full

I'd give you an A+ if this was on a test

still not the right number, but literally so close

100

how did you come at 100 ser

The question asks ‘how many blocks make a full cube?’

oh shit

*are needed

How many blocks are needed to complete a full cube?

= 100

Awwwv gawd ONE

Did I win last place ?

Actually it’s doesn’t ask that at all 😎 ⬇️

”Complete”

⬆️

blz explain, what does it not ask

8

Oh no I got that wrong... 45? (5x5)+2+(2x3)+(3x4)

23

40

close

45

It's 45

I needed the second prompt to take a second look

45

Oh 45

39

wait - you may be right..

no, no..

by that reasoning 0 is the only first correct answer

Wait... 45

still zero

Ah ok I understand... A 4x4 cube... I was calculating for a 5x5 cube

yes same here initially.. but after pondering and bc there's no dimensions given, there's already a full cube in it: one block - so zero more blocks needed

If it can be a 1x1 or 3x3 cube, then the answer is 0 because that size cube is already present. If it has to be a 5x5 cube, then the answer is 45.

*1x1x1, 3x3x3, 5x5x5

yessir

20

Oops! 45 😁

La risposta è 0 perché i cubi per fare un cubo 4x4 ci sono già

Mi ha fregato l’inglese. “A cube” non “the cube” 😁

0

Nobody guessed 4. I could create the 5x5 cube with 4 rectangular blocks (2x1x1, 3x2x1, 4x3x1, 5x5x1). I could do it with less if we didn't assume any kind of specific shape to the block, as few as one block, formed to the negative space. The volume of the single block would still be 45 x (L/5)^3, assuming L is the distance along one edge of the 5x5 cube.

It’s four high by five deep.
