Jeff, get some TRIM support as soon as possible, or at least a chance to fully recount what happened to a trusted friend or colleague (a credible, balanced witness). The good, the bad and the ugly. Well worth it.

Sounds like you saved their life, first responders can only put the handbrake on decline - not revive. Sounds achieve the maximum the situation could offer. Kudos to you.

Had to perform the Heimlich Maneuver on a 5 year old in a movie theater a few years ago when everyone else was just standing around waiting for someone to do something. Not as scary as what you had to do. Sometimes you need to just jump in and handle it.

I’ve known people who were in nearly the same situation. My heart goes out to you, and to the family and little kiddo. May his brain have gotten enough oxygen, may he recover, may you as well. Few are put in the position to do something as urgent as what you did. Thanks for being there to do it.
