If you work on privacy its time to seriously start thinking about getting a criminal defense lawyer on speed dial my guys

Strange how all these privacy devs don't attempt any kind of opsec.
It's preminded Etherum. What else would you expect?
By nature you can be an "Etherum dev" and care about privacy.
Satoshi showed us the way.
Is anyone familiar with the Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC)? They are member supported and play a prominent role in taking unconstitutional gun legislation to court in the United States. Is there anything like that for privacy? If so, we need to be hearing about them. If not, I think the time has come for it to exist.
EFF is probably closest.
darkfi fixes this. look into it
Nah. If you are working on _Ethereum_, it’s time to get a criminal defense attorney.
If you work on privacy you don't use a centralised preminded shitcoin made by an autistic retard who doxed himself.
In what universe is ETH private?
It is the digital version of the Federal Reserve.
Keep writing ✍️ the good fight 🗡️
Quit clout chasing & dev anon or FAFO. 💁♂️
MFers who keep thinking they're smarter than #Satoshi & #Bitcoin / #BTC will continue to suffer the consequences of challenging the status quo unmasked (until morale improves & ego death is attained). 🤷♂️
Enjoy the notoriety. 🤙
For all the idots dunking on this guy because he is working on eTheRiUm or because he is working on "privacy tech" in public: Maybe you should take the time and learn what "zero knowledge proofs" (zkp) are and what the implications of criminalising research on them are. A zkp is a cryptographic way of proving something without having to publish all the data that you are proving. While this can be used to increase privacy, one of the main use cases in a blockchain context is improved scaling. Because you can prove transactions happened, without publishing them on chain. There are multiple projects exploring how zkps can be used to build new L2s on Bitcoin and how to use them to improve the existing L2s. If zkp research is criminalised for their potential to increase privacy, while their main usecase is something else, this sets a dangerous precident. A lot of tech can be used to increase privacy and a lot of that tech is being integrated into bitcoin and the layers on top of it. This is putting a target on a lot of Bitcoin developers backs, even if they are not primarily working on privacy. So think before you post, you morons.
thank you
All I read is 'helped' and 'might'. Where do I read about zkp?
For general understanding maybe Wikipedia?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero-knowledge_proof
For Bitcoin specific applications
https://thebitcoinmanual.com/articles/zero-knowledge-proofs/

No. In relation to this 'case'.
From what I understand there is no detailed public info of what he is actually being accused of. So I don't really know where to point you...
Thank you. So the arrest was not in relation to his work on ZKPs, but because he contributed to a paper which analized the privacy of tornado cash? I don't know if that's better or worse...
So they coming at some point for Vitalik 🤔
Candy is dandy but guns are quicker.
Anyways… 🤵♂️
