What do you feel when you get zapped 1 sat?

You know when you're a little kid in school minding your own business eating your lunch and that one kid flicks a pea at you from across the cafeteria?
Every time I think of such scenarios I am reminded that they are prisons for indoctrination, and I refused that then, and refuse it now. I'm glad I don't have any children yet because I'd have to hide them from these indoctrinators.

I am the zapper of 1 sat often times and it’s amazing. But I don’t feel anything

I think it’s cool. I’d like to see a client where all actions cost (at least) 1 sat. PoW client to give a cost to spammers / trolls. Interesting to see if it would ever catch on.

Well, I don't convert to sats for purchasing power today. It's long term store of value for me but everyone has their own reasons.

That exchange rate implies I'd be willing to sell sats for that amount.
Exactly. Therefore you understand that the purchasing power of sats today is not dollar/sat parity, which is my point. No matter how bullish any of us is about Bitcoin’s future purchasing power, and no matter how fun it is to imagine what it could reach, it is silly to pretend that it is more right now than it actually is. Zapping someone 1 sat right now is pretty meaningless in terms of purchasing power.

MilliSatoshi is the name of the unit as defined in the LND source code, it is 1000th of a satoshi.
These units can be used in payments but are rounded off when closing a channel.

To be fair, those usually are the zapple pay guys who zaps with their likes. It makes sense to zap the minimum if you're an impulsive liker or a lurker.

Number of sats increase as the value goes up. However, I recognize that everyone will/should have different zap levels that are appropriate to their situation.

It's better than nothing but in truth I think it means one of 2 things:
A) They're broke, and this is actually a very kind guesture for them.
B) They're hardcore HODLers that are trying to set a low standard, since even 1 sat is worth something to them.
I still zap 21 sats at default but if group B succeeds then I'll gladly join them.
