GM! Do what feels right for you. I'm finding myself in a similar situation, but I'm waiting for the right opportunity to move on.
Best of luck with everything you do 💙

Thank you. I don't act on my feelings, though, or, not without a significant time examining the root causes of them. Internally I can be a petulant child and that's not someone anyone else needs to deal with, especially not in a (supposedly) professional work environment.
I'm going on vacation next week, so... I'm going to leave things be for now and then examine my options after I get back.
Move to South Texas, make Starships.
No. Texas is in my list of places I never want to go again. I can't stand it. It's full of Texans. I came to not like Texans much due to my time in the army. I'm too much of a damn Yankee to live in the south, plus, it's way too hot for me. North is the direction I'm likely heading.
My buddies from the north say similar things. They manage the Texans, but the heat still wears on them. Subjectively, the work vibe here is more toward common sense, especially in mechanical, industrial, etc. Anything outside of an office. And there's a lot available, so you can bounce around. However, middle management will always be middle management.
I can't disagree. I like the rockets but I would be hard to physically remove me from the upper Midwest. MI originaly, MN now.
and i thought you were English
Ethnically, part, yes. But I'm just an idiot American. 🤷♂️
