Maybe that can evolve at some point to become a relay that you can also use publicly with friends or for specific use cases. Maybe a way to make it open but with the possibility yo whitelist it to selected npubs

I would love this!!! Also the option to backup the content of those you follow and the content of those they follow (friends of friends). This would allow you to cut down significantly on global spam if you used this proxy as your only relay plus the content you care about would be protected from being purged by relay owners.
Save and backup your following list to be able to restore in case of lost relays.
Ability to rebroadcast notes to other relays. No other service offers something like that yet.
This would make user data more robust across nodes without users needing to nuke their battery life on a phone to publish to 25 relays, which I see as a common complaint. nostr.wine is the only group I see attempting rebroadcasting for users at scale, but itβs an even better fit for a backup node that might not need to be performant for most usecases
I'm going to add nothing new but jump on to say everything being suggested.
I'd love the ability to onboard my friends and provide a public relay that would make sure the 3D2A crowd never gets muted.
