If your doctor tells you your disease isn’t fixable or reversible prove them wrong by changing your diet.

GM Paul ! Amen
Change your diet, change your health ✊. Curious, what does a day in your life looks like eating-wise? How many meals per day, and what are you typically eating? Any go to snacks that are not terrible for you that you would recommend? Appreciate you being on Nostr. You are ahead of your peers, again.
Thanks I'll check it out
I’ve been off seed oils for over 2 years now but it’s still a pain in the ass to explain to friends, love interests, and coworkers why I refuse to eat what they do. Sometimes it seems that they are offended by it. How do you deal with that? I’m tired of explaining to everyone that what they eat is poison.
Do you King. Set an example with action and stick to your guns.
I definitely won’t eat it. I’m just looking for a way to deal with these covnos that will make my life easier. I noticed Paul will sometimes tell restaurant workers that he has a sensitivity to some of those ingredients. People don’t question him about that. I guess I could just say that and if people are interested they would ask more. I expect most of them to not care though.
Don't be a dick about it. Plan ahead, my default for restaurants is ceasar salad and coffee. Maybe fish. Don't make it a topic of conversation and it won't be.
If you need to say anything (you don't) then say "I can't eat X, and it has X in it" not "I don't eat X".
You don't say "I don't eat bleach". You say "I can't eat bleach".
Be a little less self-absorbed and you'll be fine.
I'm the same as you. i just explain that seed oils make me ill (in my case they do - I was very ill for years before I discovered it was the seed oils) and sorry but I can't eat your food. I've stopped caring if they are offended, i'm not rude just being honest. I have been surprised how many people also don't eat seed oil that I otherwise would never know.
It’s true for me as well. I mistakenly ate something once that I didn’t know had seed oils in it and got diarrhea. I definitely notice the effects food have on my stomach now.
So true!! Had a 3 month nutrition class in my 1st year, never talked about it again. However, it is the first-line therapy (dietary changes + exercise & lifestyle changes) for the most common chronic diseases and cardiovascular risk-factors!!
i like your attitude, very happy you are on nostr ... quality words i live by past two years
this is one of the reasons primary care old yeller’d my soul & I switched to acute care
back in the pcp days I’d tell folks to change their lifestyle/diets and they’d give me a shocked look and ask for pills 🤦♂️
One of my friends has been sharing me your videos for the past months, but now I get to follow you directly here :D
And that change in diet is not an instant magic pill, it will take a while to marinate.
Taking care of nutrition is what the doctors in ancient Greece emphasized, and, as far as I know, it was common sense in almost every culture before the rise of Big Pharma.
Same can be said for exercise.
Hurt my back in 2017 -- L4/L5/S1 herniation. Was told to quit lifting by multiple docs including an ortho that diagnosed me with degenerative disc disease and recommended cutting on it. No thanks.
Changed diet (went cyclic keto) and exercise routine. Went from lifting 3x a week to 5x+ a week. Strengthened the hell out of my back. Guess who has no back pain anymore?
Attack your inflammation and your muscular weaknesses.
It’s like continuing to put the wrong fuel in your car, and just leaving it to the mechanic to fix.
This is great riff, as an owner of a CrossFit gym I’d love to share this on our FB page. Do you have a YouTube link? Thank you!
Hi Paul, what are your thoughts specifically about psoriasis and food? Thanks.
