While all you seem to see is her health issue, I also see her smile and her confidence. She might have accomplishments, a strong mind, and personality that make her special and admirable. She might not have deserved to win a beauty pageant, but she also doesnβt deserve to be defined by one thing only.
There are loving and effective ways to address health issues. What you did was neither. It was bullying; Iβm just pointing that out. You can do better.
Yes, I was making light of a truly disgusting situation. If you don't learn to laugh at clown world you can end up in a very dark place.
I don't think beauty pageants are often populated by people of particularly high confidence. And if they were they wouldn't all be lying to a 300lb woman to make themselves feel better.
What she has is metabolic dysfuction & a bunch of people telling her it's great. And if she also thinks it's great then where does that lead?
Being "nice" in the short term is easier on you, but it contributes to the destruction of the people you are lying to. It is the most cowardly people who tell the most white lies. If she was standing right in front of me I would tell her she is overwheight & that it's not beautiful at all. And that the emptiest sort of win anyone could ever experience is a "win" they secretly know they didn't earn. I would tell her that she is surrounded by horrible people who would clearly prefer to humiliate her than to help her. And I would offer dietary advice if she wanted it.

I never said I supported whatβs going on in the picture, and frequently said itβs totally fine to disapprove of it, but yeah, your dehumanizing words do disturb me. They donβt befit someone who sees himself as a Christian. God would call her his child, not a jug of canola oil.

I happen to share your aesthetic preference on that, but that doesnβt mean she doesnβt have a beautiful smile, hair, skin, whatever.

These people do not live in reality, they are very lost.
Beauty standards are by no means universal, but markers of health are naturally attractive with all sorts of evolutionary biology to back that up. I do think that anyone who finds this attractive is truly broken & suffering from some deep sort of corruption.

She and her enablers need to be brought back to reality. Itβs not going to be a pleasant experience and people in danger of slipping into the same delusion need to be warned away from it. Not saying name calling would be my preferred method of doing that, but I seriously doubt Jack or this Jeff guy would actually call that person names to their face. In the military they call people worse for a whole lot less in order to make them stronger. No one is laughing at that person or even trying to degrade them. In each life we are entrusted with a vessel that should be cared for more than probably any other possession we have have. Christ took a whip to people defiling Gods temple. Now we each have a temple of flesh that we are to care for. Do you not think God has something to say about her defiling her temple with obvious bad health choices?

The people who are celebrating her for being fat have reduced her to nothing. This whole thing is to make themselves feel special for being the judges who "see through to the person" in an effort to virtue signal harder than the state that just awarded the guy who thinks he is a girl. You don't know anything about this person, except that she obviously doesn't take care of herself at all, & you are trying to pretend that there is something beautiful about it.

What you don't seem to get is that the people celebrating this fat girl are killers. In the Milgram test they are the ones who push the botton every time. Social status & acceptance matter more to them than any person & they are demonstrating it as plainly as they possibly could.
This stupid "beauty contest" & its results are actually a pretty great illustration of the philisophical corruption that is wrecking the western world & I do think the altruistic bullshit preached by people who consider themselves "good Christians" has played a significant role in moving the US & others toward collapse.
