Are you guys considering shutting down in the foreseeable future or are there any obstacles that y’all see as a future issue ?
No. We are continuing ahead full throttle. We have ample runway and will be raising to extend it soon.
We also remain optimistic on the regulatory front and have seen no reason to change operations.

Why don’t you have a paste button to paste an LN invoice at the scan option? I only see a flashlight and scan from image option. I would love a paste LN option 😉
We got you! Go to Settings > Privacy and enable Read from clipboard. Then you will get a paste button on the Send view and in the wallet header when a bitcoin string is detected
How do I do a Bolt 12 offer?
It’s currently only supported for remote Core Lightning nodes at the moment
How many channeled to Olympus do you advise?
Only really need one but it’s ok to have multiple as your need for capacity increases

Can onchain sats in Zues be sent into my current Zues embedded LN channel?
I tried paying my Zues LN invoice with my Zues onchain balance and it shows two transactions:
one lightning sent
one lightning received (with a two sat lsp fee)
But the wallet still shows the on chain uxto and the balance hasn't changed?
Right now the onchain and lightning layers are separate and the only way you can switch between them is opening or closing channels.
We are looking to change this somewhat soon either with swaps or splicing. For now you may want to consider using a third party service for this, like Boltz.

Our Lightning address does support offline receives but the payments must be redeemed in app within 24 hours.

We work outside of the US, yes. We are self custodial so there is no KYC. There are some limits on countries we can serve with the LSP due to OFAC regulations but those users can still manually open up channels with other nodes.
We don’t have NWC yet.
We do offer Lightning addresses.
I closed my channel on my wallet. Do I have to start over and create a new one? It is showing offline

i've got a couple channels to them so i should have no problems getting payments from there
Is there a 'send all funds' option onchain? I want to consolidate 2 UTXO's but do not see this option.
Enter an onchain address then hit the broom icon in the header to sweep the wallet.
I don't want to sweep the whole wallet. I want to consolidate only two UTXO's.

Is there any lightning standard to allow for zap-like tipping in video games? Basically a nano-transaction every time you use a premium feature, without having to take out your wallet. I understand that the game could have an integrated lightning wallet with a balance, but is it possible without?
I'm testing nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 wallet on iOS with LND on nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct, connected via nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm Hub with LNDHub. It works quite well overall. There are occasional failures to load transaction history, which can be easily resolved by refreshing the node in settings. Also, Zeus mistakenly recognises the setup as "custodial" and warns the user. Despite these minor issues, it's still a great match.

Just downloaded Zeus and curious what the next step is if any? Is it just download and go or do I need to connect anything?

I have my node connected with Zeus so not sure how the built in node works. For a noob I’m trying to send sats to, can they send and receive both bitcoin and lightning or is it just lightning? And what are fees like? I just need a fast non KYC option for quick orange pilling.
How do your LSP fees compare to Phoenix?
Slightly higher to open channels but then less when making payments.
We are more meticulous with our management so you should also have better results making payments.
Not to mention, we’re far more private.
With Mutiny shutting down we need Nostr support in Zeus so I can easily have a contact list fleshed out based on my npub. Makes paying people easy.
I already use Zeus connected to my own node works great. My favorite feature from Mutiny Wallet was the Nostr support.
We have a contact book that supports imports from Nostr too

I tried it a while ago, had to add some neutrino peers to get it going (that took me a while to figure it out) and then had my channel with olympus force closed out of nowhere and I still don’t know why it did that…honestly I’m kind of scared of trying again…
In v0.9.0 Neutrino peers get picked and optimized automatically and warnings are shown if they still have issues.
That being said you might be better off with a full remote node, which you can also connect to ZEUS
Has there been any improvement in app opening/syncing time since early Olympus days?
Yep, express graph sync is cached and faster. Neutrino performance has been optimized. Database startup time is next.
I installed Zeus and set up with Olympus, it does indeed sync and start up better than early days.
I can receive from Phoenix just fine every time, but unfortunately sends to Phoenix fail every time.
Is there anything I can do to correct this?
After you hit send in ZEUS you have to switch back to the Phoenix app
Switch back and forth if you continue to have issues
I gave that a go both ways:
1) Switched back to Phoenix after send
2) Switched back and forth after send
Still failing payments to Phoenix always if greater than around15,000 sats, 50% of the time if sending smaller amounts around 2-3000 sats.
Sends to Primal with smaller amount also fail.
Do you have enough inbound in your Phoenix wallet?
Lot's yes.
If Phoenix inbound was an issue probably would not allow ~50% of smaller payments.
Can send with Alby to Phoenix every time without issue.

Hey! Since I kept having trouble with the wallet, I sent my sets out and deleted it, and reinstalled it fresh.
I opened it just now and it took a full minute to synch, which was the same problem, I was having before.
Would really appreciate any ideas about how to resolve this, or is this to be expected every time?
(To be clear, I haven’t yet loaded any sats in the wallet this time)
Also, what does it mean when it asks me if I want to allow the app to discover other devices on my local network? What would be the purpose of this?

Access to the network is to allow the node to sync the lightning graph p2p
We’ve made optimizations to Express Graph Sync that should drastically speed up sync time. If you don’t have great internet speeds on your device you’re better suited with a remote node

Is there a best recommended VPN server location, protocol and port for fastest connections with neutrino peers?
I use VPN always but have tried without and don't necessarily get faster connections.
Will slow neutrino peer connections affect payment reliability or is that irrelevant once node is already synced?
Are there any other peers one can use aside from the defaults in Zeus?
