We do not have 5 stomachs, so we cannot efficiently make use of nutrients wrapped in cellulose. Plants also protect themselves by producing things that are toxic (oxalates, lectins, tannins, sapponins, etc).

Sugar & carb consumption produces an emergency hormone response that produces fat. We do not burn fat well while we are producing it. The subsequent hormonal shift back to a more sustainable state produces a crash & hangry cravings. Cravings are compounded by the lack of bioavailable nutrition in plant products.

Eating fat (without sugar & carbs) forces your body to use fat for energy (& produce the small amount of necessary glucose through gluconeogenesis). This puts your body in a hormonal state conducive to burning fat, and makes the transition from burning dietary fat to stored fat almost seemless without a crash or hangry cravings.

I lost almost 50 pounds after having my daughter by simply eating HFLC. Living proof.

before/after

Finally talked my mother (who is approaching 70) into a LCHF diet & she lost 50 or 60lbs too. And it really didn't take all that long. It's amazing how fast we can heal when we give ourselves the right fuel.

It took me 3.5-4 months. Truly. And honestly, it probably could have been faster. At first I limited myself to 100 carbs per day. At the end I dropped it down to 50. Once a week the last month I did a “fat fast” day. If I would have done this, the entire time, I would have lost more even faster. And honestly, fat satisfies you with less. Few things are better than scrambled eggs with whole cream, excessive butter, and a bit of cheese. 🤤

Ok I need to make breakfast now lol

we don't need 5 stomachs because we discovered fire and cooking

Cooking doesn't improve nutrient density, doesn't always eliminate oxalates & other troublesome things, & can also negatively impact nutritional value.

Plants are still poverty food & entirely suboptimal.

You don’t even need to cook vegetables to fully digest them. I’m not going to go into how to confirm somethings been digested but it should be p obvious.
