Im sorry for doing this, but I had to see.

It was delicious, and gone in under 5 minutes.

Damn...yeah, I dug one of mine out; this was the first Bitcoin purchase in my home cities history, so there is that...but £400+ for a dvd?! 😆😪🤢🤮

Andy Serkis is worth at least 400 quid.

That might get me past this initial purchase...it's the subsequent dozens of dvds that make me really sad 😄😪😎

So at 50 BTC per block he would have to have mined 2000 blocks over the course of a span of just a few weeks to earn 100,000 BTC. Did I math right?

I just ordered the book “Digital Gold” by Nathaniel Popper fro the library, supposed to tell this story and should be a good read.

From a quick scan, looks like he wrote the first code to mine in GPUs. Satoshi thought it was too much for the early network, but eventually the car was out of the bag and the hash race was on.
