What is the nostr solution to hate speech? I’ve already seen some of it. Is it just client side blocking? That would mean it could still be spread
Yeah, you unfollow and block. Your client could also block specific words if you wish, etc.

That's not the full story, it gets better.
It's an instance that markets itself for LBTQIA+ folx and trannies on there were pestering the admin to ban people simply for streaming themselves playing Hogwart's Legacy.
The admin refused and then got harassed by the same trannies until he/she/it cracked.
Things don't look too good for mastodon if it can't handle Harry Potter drama
