I don't legitimately know why people hate Nickelback. They weren't my jam (I always fell more into the punk/counter culture scene) but I thought they had some bops.

Word on the street is that Chad Kroeger is a grade-A A-hole to those who he considers below his accomplishments. I recall a friendly local venue security guard recall how Chad arrogantly rubbed in his face how he makes as much as this guy does in a year in a single performance.

I'm not so sure of this! Did he put out some pretty good music yes some songs are damn good but alot are shit. The good ones are timeless and will always keep your attention no matter how far down the road they are.

Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman, Default, and many like them are all brutal Pearl Jam wanna be's.. I'm not much a Pearl Jam fan, but I'll take them over the canned garbage produced by the aforementioned any day.
