What would be some cool projects for a nostr hackathon?

Some crazy open source zap bots. Been looking for a while to build one, but there is so little info out there and with all other projects I donāt want to go that deep into learning Nostr.
would a p2p filesharing system be possible over Nostr?
Holepunch would probably serve this use case better. Designed for P2P data streams.
I think the better use case would be a hole punch integration with a nostr client.
Nostr users can share punch links for facilitating p2p transactions.
Yes, I think there's an interesting overlap between the two protocols. Nostr seems great for blasting small data blobs (like punch links), event-based notifications, and finding peers to connect with. Holepunch could do all the heavy lifting after that for more resource/data-intensive tasks between linked peers. Interested to see what gets built.
Yeah and holepunch needs a way for users to find each other as far as I know and is good for in the moment things.

Like I can imagine if a client wanted to leverage something like a keet and exchange punch links via DM or group encrypted comms.
From a UX standpoint itās just tap and go while in the background nostr and whatever holepunch act in tandem.
The possibilities actually sound really cool here.

I think subscription model over open interoperable network like Nostr and LN allows to do things that traditional closed paywall can't.

Along these lines, I'd love something similar to the "crowdwall" concept John Carvalho uses for his podcast. (https://thebiz.pro/about#crowdwall)
Basically nostr notes with hidden content until some cumulative number of sats have been zapped, and then the content is revealed to everyone going forward. Because the zaps are nostr messages themselves, even if the content itself were hosted on a separate blog or something, it could pull the list of zaps and show a section for all the people that donated to make the content available, like a sponsorship leaderboard.
Implementing Satoshi barrier using zaps or some sort of arbitrary deposit (forfeited upon breaking the rules) to prevent bots from spamming.

A client thatās basically an online library. Client has read only relays for each book it hosts. Click a book, it takes you to the books read-only relay, and client displays text in digital book form.
I have 0 clue if this is possible.

I just want a simple interface where I can choose a subset of relays for different views of my timeline. E.g., geographically local relays, paid relays, personal/private relay events, relays dedicated to specific content/topics, etc. Relays havenāt really specialized in that way yet, but it seems like many will eventually. Right now, I pretty much just get a massive feed of everything.

Clearly a marketplace would bring the biggest utility right now.

What would you suggest to be used as a proof of funding, so in cases of āall-or-nothingā scheme or if it is some kind of investment with some form of return (interest or equity, doesnāt really matter) the payer gets his/hers money back

Sure! Although some investors might want interestā¦ but technically speaking is the zap events good enough to not be faked or maybe the preimage is something that could be used. Or additional notice should be delivered to beneficiary and investorā¦
