Iceland?

Yes

Switzerland.

Not a thing

What do you mean?

Does not exist

Switzerland and Finland are not real countries, they used to be but not anymore sorry.

NATO ......

If this is your point, which country does exist at all?

Countries with the capability to project force

Why you come to the conclusion, that a nation state is defined by projecting force?

So you define a country by the ability to be an empire and enforce illegit autority over others? Is this not rather a tyranny than a country?

They at least have to be able to set their own foreign policy

Ok. So to make trade agreements and such.

In Switzerland clearly we have this ability. And why should Finland not have it?

Eastern Europe was great from the parts I saw

Going to have to go check it out. Which places did you find most interesting?

Poland

Yes

Paraguay πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Ύ

No

Having been based there for a year I can confirm - mainly white and very proud to be Paraguayan

Accidentally liked my own comment! Can't undo on nostr

Jack Dorsey is a faggot

Where is this question coming from? πŸ€”

Seems to come from a racist ideologic base. Pure populism since the autor does not even clarify questions.

What's the difference between populism and democracy?

Democracy is a governance model, which focuses on transparency and societies participation. It means, that executive, legislative and judiciary are separated powers, which have to be represented by different people. Usually it is considered best practice, when they interact transparently in formal processes.

As the 4th power a democracy considers the free press, which is able to report on the activities of any of the former 3 powers, so the rest of population has transparency about the representatives they vote for.

Populism is a form to strive for political power through creating an easy model of the good people and the bad establishment. And position oneself to represent the people to disqualify the establishment. Usually it is used to position one person in the center of everything, as we see it in many countries today, with the selfproposed saviors. (Bukele, Milei, Bolsonaro, ...)

The people of a country don't hate themselves, it is the parasite class that rules over them that does, once you have convinced yourself that you are better than anyone else, you try everything possible to make sure that nobody else climbs up and challenges your control, divide and conquer has been their method of being at the top since the top was invented!

Mostly where liberals aren’t in charge and they aren’t part of the EU

nobody mentioned Germany or at least Bavarian? the part of Germans are very proud of themselves

Is it more convincing, when a person is proud of herself or when other people are referencing someone as being great in something?

I would not say, that a reference of someone about themselves has any value at all. Or you are always buying your stuff in shops that have a great reference from their own sales team on the website? What kind of accomplishment is this please?

i think it's a marketing skill

No. It is just a lack of intelligence of those who believe it. But usually one learns that once it gets obvious the self proclaimed greatness has no bases in reality.

i don't actually understand if you're referring to Bavarian topic or is it just a general discussionπŸ˜‚

Generally I question that there is value in evaluating the own successes higher than others to legitimate power over others. When patriotism is not used for legitimating some power over others then it is might not harmfull, but I would still rate it as useless.

So general discussion directly answering to the head note.

"Yo, for real though, are there any places where the vibe's chill and folks ain't trippin' on guilt? πŸ€”πŸŒ #JustWonderin"

There, you fixed it for his racist turd a$$

Most countries I've been to are like that, with the exception of western nations.

Maby you reformulate your question?

A country is a construct. Similar to a company, a country is without feelings. So it can not express hate. So what exactly do you mean with this?

I assume you mean some people who hate the country? How do those people express that hate? I really do want to understand. No trolling or what so ever.

I mean people who've been taught to hate their own culture.

Can you give an example of such a person? Do you consider someone hates the bavarian culture, when he does not celebrate beer? Or when an US-American does not like to eat hamburgers or a swiss dislikes chees? Or how would you define hate of the countries culture?

Nordic countries.

With the exception of Sweden

Argentina

East Germany and those further East

I think croatia is the whitest country in the world, also not very densly populated

Poland, Serbia, Croatia
