Why note links when posted don’t work on #Damus & #Primal?

GM! I have but find it too slow and too techie UX for my liking
Still trying to figure out why note links I share from Primal and Amethyst via SMS to non-nostriches sometimes won't open in their browsers.
I often have the same problem when they send me links to something posted on X, FB or Instagram. In those cases, it's usually because the platform wants me to create an account to view it.

Yes been using the ID but why to have the link option if it doesn’t work properly
