6 months ago I quit smoothies, cutting out the daily raw milk, fruit and yogurt.

Since then all my familiar aches and pains (shoulders and elbows) have gone away completely.

Every person I know personally has been sick at least once but some twice this winter and I haven’t had a single moment where I felt compromised.

Hit PRs in every lift not going to the gym anymore than normal (twice a week).

I’m 38… Quite interesting. #beefstr #carnivore unlocks extreme power.

As PR’s are concerned…

In the US, generally we have sold people on the idea that every workout should leave you exhausted and crippled. This is not the way.

Russians learned powerlifting one hundred years before we did.

Periodization and recovery.

I know people that lift heavy weights everyday and I don’t think they understand the endocrine demolition they’re proceeding with.

Being all assumptive w this reply. I didn’t say I max every session in the gym or that I am crippled or exhausted when I leave. I actually point out the contrary that my body feels much better (even though I am getting stronger and lifting more on average) and that I’m only there twice a week, giving myself ample rest time.

I wasn’t criticizing you I was agreeing with you……….

Got it. Wasn’t clear to me.

I never fully max bc I’m solo lifting and find it an unnecessary amount of stress.

Were you eating meat while you were eating that stuff? And was it the same amount of meat intake as you’re taking now?

I replaced the smoothie with more meat. So the smoothie was ≈500 calories and now I eat a half pound of steak, shrimp or fish instead which is typically around 500 calories.

Everything else is the same. Occasionally I have a 1/2 cup of frozen raspberries for “dessert” but reduced my intake of daily sugar by > 80%. Raw milk has a lot of what ends up as sugar and I was putting > 1 cup of frozen fruit in each smoothie.

Ahh I gotcha! I love experimenting with foods! I’ve been adding blueberries and honey to mine diet before going to the gym and as a snack in general. I like getting a sugar rush before the gym. I’ve seen that it helps me bear more pain as well

Bovine and human milk contain casomorphins which directly interact with opioid receptors. I can only do homemade kefir now occasionally if I’ve eaten something off or I want a little tryptophan bomb. I don’t crave kefir the same way I do milk, but not sure if it’s the bugs breaking down more of the proteins or just anecdotal.

This is an issue too.

Wait, are you insenuating raw milk is not helpful for optimum health?

Too much sucrose which causes a significant insulin response. Doing that daily is unhealthy imo.

I feel better without it. My skin is perfect now and less dandruff. I am stronger. And any cuts or scrapes I get heal much faster. What I’m doing now feels optimal.

Milk and its products contain estrogen. Extra estrogen in your body causes micro inflamations. Extra is anything you did not produce yourself.

There may be many other effects of milk that we do not know, but fact is that it works for super rapidly growing bodies such as babies. So it cannot be good for aging bodies such as adults. It might be medicine if used only once or twice in a lifetime to help kick the body to cure a speciffic illness, but if used often, it is drug abuse as any other.

Also, it is immoral and unnatural. Animals are enslaved and their organs abused to steal their milk. Natural way of getting food is not enslaving any animal. Natural is when every creature lives free, and you only kill individual ones after they lived a free life. The same as with plants. They live free, but some you kill to eat. Or you steal and eat eggs. Just like you steal and eat fruits before they become a new plant.

After 5 years of no milk products, I tasted now raw milk and kefir, and both were really ugly to me. Cheese is the only product I still crave sometimes. I don't know how this works. I thought this was because of sugar, but lately I don't feel attracted to sweatened stuff anymore (also after years of no sugar added products), but cheese still looks and smells very attractive.

Yeah I still eat cheese. It’s so good and has no sugar.

I avoid even cheese anyway. Except maybe twice a year. No health hazards.

And I take no supplements except zinc. But even that I am not sure I still need with the amounts of beef I consume.

I do eat some veggies and fruits. But not much, and some days I even forget them.

I do sunbathing almost every day (no creams).

And I am healthy as don't even know what to compare with, a cat maybe. Just no symptoms of anything ever.

But before I started this lifestyle, zinc and tanning especially, I used to be very sick very often with nose, throat and lungs.

Don't know how much that is relevant, but I also stopped skin hurting things like swimming pools and even daily hot showers. And therefore do not need any lotions ever anymore.

Im on a very similar track to you. I’ve been doing uvb / uva tanning (I call it sun replacement therapy) all winter.

This is really interesting: https://youtu.be/dyG4GBqCh3Y?si=UjWx5R99tuj8PzI8

Same here: sun when it's there, and uvb+uva tanning beds when there is none. Almost daily for the last 5 years. About 8 minutes each side per session, dependent on sun intensity. No problems and no aging signs on the skin. Orange like Trump :D.

Good presentation you shared 👍. Explains well the things I discovered superficially through not much more than animal instincts.
