Oddly enough, the most pro-nostr and the most anti-nostr factions on the internet that I've come across are *both* made up of bitcoin people.

There are definitely some anti-nostr bitcoin ppl that see nostr as an imposter. As in they say they believe decentralised social media is the way to go but they've concluded nostr is faking it.
Probably because if you know what Nostr is, you also know about Bitcoin. It's unlikely to have an actual opinion about Nostr without also being in the know about Bitcoin

As humans we naturally tend to argue FOR what we believe in by arguing AGAINST the opposing view, because it brings comfort to know what we do/say/believe in is true/right.
