I think it's a solution to a superficially understood problem.
But I think it can also move a needle. Just not as much as if we focus on understanding the (onboarding/engagement) problem better, and craft solution specifically to that (with less collateral damage to the authentic and thriving community here).

Great experiment. It can help think about how nostr can grow independent of Bitcoin philosophy.
One caveat: With recent shut down of WoS in a few countries, if we don't talk about Bitcoin, people may not be able to have a productive conversation towards finding alternatives. We might need to think about that as well.
I personally love the Bitcoin aspect of nostr but it's a worthwhile test to see where we are today.

I don't think pretending to be anything that we aren't is good for nostr. Part of what makes this place special is most people are being genuine.
Youre welcome to do you but for the same reasons I don't participate in no-nut November nor do I self flaggulate, I will not stop talking abt bitcoin.
