He might have fried his own brain or he is being whispered to by the state actors and incentivized for the correct thought.
He went into more detail in the last Rogan podcast. At one point he stated something to the effect that he’s being persecuted by his licensing board and that wouldn’t have been a problem if he were speaking anonymously.
He does recognize the issue, but his perspective is that tyranny happens because good people don’t stand up for the truth, which he equates to putting your name and reputation behind the statements of truth. And yes, you might be persecuted for speaking up but it’s worse for you and everyone else if you don’t. Basically he’s stating that you need to be brave and face the heat.
I’m nym’ing it right now, but I understand his perspective.

I see. Yeah it doesn’t seem like it would solve internet trolling, obviously. But I do think that anonymity increases the likelihood of troll-like behavior. A lot of vitriol would probably not be uttered if the person’s real identity was obvious.

Apply the lobster mentality to it. Does a lobster want other lobsters to know that they are top lobster? Is it a moral imperative? Is a lobster a coward if it doesn't make sure everyone knows it's top lobster?
