The software accomplishes several goals: (1) lower the barrier for people to route payments even if they only have a cell phone that is off most of the time (2) make it easier to manually add such people to your routes on the lightning network (3) disrupt the assumptions LSPs use to guess who the senders and recipients of lightning payments are

That's great! Maybe make more clear that this is only for science. You're mentioning it but only after min 7 or so. The meaning of "Not for main net" is only clear for developers.

Great suggestion! I changed the warning to this:
Warning: for science only! Do not use this with real money. I only coded the "happy path" and there are lots of edge cases where you can lose funds, including if your internet connection is poor.
Nice you've just invented the LN private routing!
Lnproxy did it before me but now it's easy to do it on a phone without needing to run a node
But it's not ready yet, it's just a PoC
The greatest Trojan horse of all would be for Bitcoin to become mainstream within institutions, only for new privacy tools or protocol updates making KYC/AML rules impossible to enforce

Really interesting, I hope that in the future performing operations of this kind will become as easy as turning on a VPN on a smartphone.

I doubt it. I rushed this project to the "finish line" (by my standards) because I thought of another one and now I'm psyched to do that one
(Hint: it's PTLCs)
So I probably won't do anything further with this one for quite a while
