Hm. I haz grill, oven, range. Dassit.
do you know what cut it is?
“london broil” is sorta weird because it’s *sort of* a preparation, but could be done with a few different cuts.
(u can post a pic if u don’t know.)
I'm in the U.S., and here the cut itself is called a "London Broil"
Spoken like a true American.
Rock on!
How to cook the 🇺🇸 london broil, maestro 👀
it depends entirely on the cut.
File under TIL...
I guess I don't know the cut, then, because it just says "London Broil" (LOL).

"...it is a method of cooking, NOT a cut of meat..."
I'd never heard that London Broil was also a method but then again it *is* right there in the name and there's probably a reason for that innit 🤦♂️
Plain I sear then set on a low rack in roaster, cover roaster with foil and toss in oven. Can go low and slow or norm temp and time but low and slow gets it to fall apart better.
Marinades work well and I have been loving a maple bourbon one for grilling that is super easy to make. Maple syrup, bourbon, soy sauce, salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder. I gallon ziplock the cut and pour marinade in, remove excess air and let it sit for hours, sometimes overnight.
Marinade for 5-10 hours.
Bring an all metal pan up to *very hot*
Pre-heat broiler.
Pat dry meat.
Drop it in the pan, transfer the pan to the oven KEEP THE OVEN DOOR CRACKED to keep the heating element on.
Wait 4-5 min.
FLIP
Wait 3-4 min
Remove pan from oven.
Remove steak from pan, wrap in tin foil.
Melt some butter in the pan that's now got a bit of juice on the bottom.
Add a dash of worcestershire.
Slice meat very thin against the grain.
Salt meat.
Dip & Enjoy.
This sounds amazing ty
I did one in a smoker once at low temp, I think 225 for about 4 hours. Turned out decent. Could probably experiment with different rubs and/or marinade before putting it in the smoker
Repeat:
I sous vide almost everything these days and get more of a steak than a roast. Did a London Broil about a month ago. It was awesome! I think I had it in the Sous Vide water for about 12ish hours to make it as tender as possible then seared it in a pan with either bacon grease or ghee, can't remember.
