Good morning, Dan! Right now, any creamy blue cheese would do the job.
Um if it's mouldy you should throw it out lol
What we call in the US โSwiss Cheeseโ. I donโt know what they call it in Switzerland. Do they just call it cheese? Is it even from Switzerland? I heard French fries arenโt even from France.
There is a LOT of cheese in Switzerland, they all have their name, mostly made up from the region and the kind of milk and process used to produce it.
Itโs comparable to wine.
Nah, we donโt have any cheese called Swiss cheese. The ones with the big holes is Emmenthaler.
I figured that was probably the case. I would love to visit Switzerland someday. Some of my ancestors were from there according to my grandmother. My wife visited there almost 30 years ago and loved it.

Brie! I live close to a place that makes it. Every once in a while we head out to the farmhouse & pick some up. I could live off Brie. We even named a dog Brie.

But seriously I love most cheeses ๐คทโโ๏ธ
1. Tillamook Reserve 10-year-old white cheddar
2. Mitica Wooly Wooly with Espalette Pepper
3. Most white cheddars that have been aged 5+ years and Goudas that have been aged 3+ years
4. Somerdale Stilton with Mango and Ginger
OH and years ago there was some kind of hardish Swiss cheese with no holes which was aged and sold with rock pine needles. That was my favorite cheese at the time and would probably be #2 today.
