Morning! No, the language isn't slavic, so I don't think Hungarians are. I heard Hungarian and Iranian languages are connected. Is it true?
Enjoy, not Slavic if you ask me! It inherits thecultural heritage of Austria-Hungary if anything, not that of eastern europe

That's a good question. I knew a few Hungarians who suggested an ancestral link to Attila the Hun. It seems to be a country and culture influenced by the east and the west.
Completely assimilated by slavs except for linguistically, yes.
