Not really. I like the idea of paying for old movies which I want my kids to watch but I canāt watch it on my TV so itās just too difficult.
I have tipped quite a few Wavlake musicians but thatās purely because I like it and at the time I felt generous. At other times Iāve felt poorer and less generous. I donāt really consider it paying for something more like I feel I need to support these guys cos I like their music. Thatās too subject to my feelings.
If that is your mindset then you should not be surprised when nostr dies for lack of a viable user base due to lack of good content.
My point is that nostr cannot rely on my charity. This isnāt a viable economic model. Nostr has to provide value and Iām willing to pay for that but I donāt cat pictures or photos valuable. If thereās an outstanding picture Iāll zap it but thatās far too subjective for a sustainable business. Nostrās real potential will only unlock when thereās meaningful economic activity flowing through it. Content creation, digital media, and all forms of value exchange need proper monetization. Micro-payments shouldnāt just be novelty zaps, they need to stack sats, incentivize creators, and build a sustainable on-chain economy. Thatās how the network evolves from a social layer into a true financial layer .

I believe you have a to be a premium subscriber to use that relay. It works fine for me on both Nostur and Primal.
