Day 19 no #meat 🥩

Time passes quickly.

Not doing this from ideology reasons, but wanted to see the impact on my body. Don’t feel a negative impact tbh. Digestion is noticeably faster.

What’s your view on meat consumption vs a more plant based diet?

Would be great to collect arguments in a thread 🧵.

Still a topic highly polarising and difficult to know, what is „best“ for health & longevity.

Been vegetarian for 16 years. Recently started eating meat. Feel better overall. More strength and endurance. Guess its the proteins and minerals that is harder to come by on vegetarian diet.

Eating dairy and eggs can alleviate it abit. I could never give that up. Wouldve killed me.

I eat a lot of eggs still, also dairy occasionally.

Strenght levels haven’t dropped for me so far.

I noticed after several years.

Naka, you should check Darko Velcek on bitchute.

which direction he argues?

Darko explains very well (and in an uncommon way) why vegans keep building toxins in the body, until some inevitable cronic problem happen.

Also explains how to clean/detox the body, specially important to long tome vegans.

Was veggie for over 15 years, ran marathons and ate great food. Felt great. Now been eating meat for years , feel great 🤷‍♂️

our body is great 😁

Main thing is listen to your body. Less medication , more staying aware

No meat for 7 years or so. I'm vegan actually. Being vegan does not mean you're eating healthy. There is also a lot of junkfood for vegans. But I love animals. Ever seen free happy pigs, piglets, cows, sheep etc. jumping around because they love their life? It doesn't make sense to eat animals like ducks, chicken, cows, pigs etc, but love dogs and cats.

agree, „vegan“ often is scam.

That’s why I called it „plant based“ 😝

Looking always for unprocessed food and not „meat-substitutes“ or things like that…

if youre doing exercise / sport…

super keen to hear if you have the same energy levels without meat 🤙🏽

so far yes, even though I am on a recovery still for a shoulder inflammation. Not training at 100%.

And I probably will go back to „good“ meat maybe once a week. So not planning to cut it off forever…

I have never eaten meat. I was vegetarian until I was about 16 years old, then I became vegan. A few years ago, I became even more intensively involved with nutrition. I eat unprocessed foods as much as possible. I think the term plant based is better too. I run daily and also go to the gym several times a week. I have no health restrictions and am rarely (actually never) sick. I often run several marathons a year. But of course you have to pay close attention to what you eat. However, even as someone who eats meat, you have to make sure you eat a balanced diet.

Digestion takes up to 60-70% of your energy. Digesting meet is the hardest for your body and takes up to 1 day… on the other hand fruits are digested almost instantly…

Fruit is like

instant settlement with almost zero fees over the Lightning network.

Meat is like

super slow onchain transactions with a clocked up mempool

Interesting analogy 🎯🙏🏽
