Take power away from the state etc.
It may contribute but Bitcoin isn't going to do those things directly

In my opinion, it’s often misused.
Misused by being overused and over applied.

Too many dogmatic affirmations vs open questions
Can't really solve problems with that mindset

I don't see grandma handling keys, lots of people will have bitcoin in some multi-custodial bank.
If grandma is responsible enough to hold cash instead of leaving it all in the he bank, she's probably responsible enough to self custody her Bitcoin
