Close to it. Itโ€™s a breathing exercise, but gets me to the same state of mind.

Without fail... else I become unbearable... did in an MRI machine this am ๐ŸŒ›๐ŸŒ•๐ŸŒœ๐Ÿ’‹

For the past 5 years, I have been practicing meditation twice a day. This habit was instilled in me during my time in boarding school, where meditation was compulsory.

It works tho.

No wonder you shine you love on everyone ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

I am learning a lot from you my friend ๐Ÿซ‚

I do it once a day

I do twice. First thing in the morning (after my first coffee โ˜•๏ธ) and very last thing at night ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

No wonder you have such a beautiful heart ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

I meditate every day. Always in the morning, also sometimes in the evening.

Focused and calm, I do it every day, Zen and meditation.

Best feeling, right?!

Our hearts become cloudy because of our daily life, but meditation allows us to become clear, calm and clear, enabling us to become more intelligent and find the pearls under the water.

Iโ€™ve tried, but end up letting my mind wonder to much to ever feel sense of calm. I should probably stick with it, has this ever happened and does it just take time and practice like everything?

This is normal and everyone goes through this process when they are just starting out. The way to do that is to ignore the thoughts that come into your head, just let them fly, just focus on the breath, and after a while they will disappear. Repeat the process and you will become calm.

Noted. Time to get back to it then! Thanks for the words.

The most important thing is to relax, feel your breath and everything will be fine.

Thank you! I will keep this in mind. Relaxing has been always been tough with my ADHD but practicing and looking for ways to keep a clear and active mind.

๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿค™

It is a myth that your mind won't wander or that it will be still like water. Let the thoughts come, don't resist them, but let them go quickly. Get back to your mantra or focus on your breathing. The key is letting go. Begin again.

โšก๏ธ๐Ÿ’œ thank you first day to start meditating

I use selfmeditation to fall asleep almost every day

Is there any meditation that is not "selfmeditation"? LOL!

(maybe you mean without an app or something)

Well you tell yourself in your head, that your body gets tired and falls asleep for example - not listening to an audio or someone else. Thatโ€™s what I meant. But I guess itโ€™s more like a hypnosis than a meditation, especially cause you donโ€™t want to fall asleep while you meditate ๐Ÿ˜…

Iโ€™m glad I started a few years ago especially going through this last year. Most challenging year of my lifeโ€ฆ

I watch my breathing, emotions, pain, joy everyday. Listen Eckhart Tolle he's the Satoshi of awakening

listen where? (audio book? podcast?)

YouTube, he has a channel

I aim to but am improving my consistency and duration. Do you use an app / recording or just on your own? (I am a mix)

I used to listen to guided meditation music on YouTube. Now I listen to different frequency music (also YouTube) or nothing.

different frequency music ... do you mean like specific tones, like 528 Hz?

Yes exactly. Let me know how it goes for you :)

I do sometimes or binaural beats

I am meditative! I usually tend to choose when to be in my thoughts or not. I don't control it all the time, but I'm getting better.
