Feeling a bit Kanye myself.
Totally agree but also, government on a bitcoin standard would be like "you really expect us to part with our precious sats just because the roads/schools/libraries/hospitals/prisons in your area are going to the dogs? Get your own bitcoin and take responsibility"... it would be like an inversion, government continues to exist through bitcoin but is more libertarian than the plebs.
8% of their income!!!!
Nevermind your tax dollars! We dumb citizens pay a TV licence fee for the privilege... ~£200 per year per for individual households...on top of whatever gets siphoned out from our taxes.
The racket is even worse than I thought... and boy, I already thought it was bad!!! We did boycott the licence fee for a few years but they extended its reach to cover 'anything live streamed', and the penalties are criminalised not just fines. So we got to choose our battles... and as UK homeschoolers we got enough of those.
True.
But from experience, homeschooling is hard... relentless, and will deconstruct you as an adult if you're doing it well. Otherwise, it's just larp for freedom likes.
Poor guy, soon he'll be Eugene Fomo.
Bitcoin would lose all of its value in dollars if the dollar was to be discontinued within the next decade.
However, Bitcoin itself will do just fine in the real world as a store of value or medium of exchange.
USAID funding cut this week? 😂
Some #biblestr with your GM.
Azariah, son of Oded, was one of the more obscure prophets of the Bible. Nevertheless, the Spirit of the LORD descended on him with a timeless message.
"The LORD is with you when you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.

In those days it was not safe to travel about, for all the inhabitants of the lands were in great turmoil. One nation was being crushed by another and one city by another, because God was troubling them with every kind of distress.
*But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded*.”
2 Chronicles 15.

I have to use amethyst now because primal's wallet is kyc. Can't use famous because android. These notes are unnecessary oppression of the faithful.

Remember when WoS was all the rage at Nostr Zapathons?
If anyone knows Michael Saylor, tell him hospital medical record systems are ripe for disruption. An analog to his hyper intelligence software could probably win bigly in this area.
I wrote software to something akin to this for my internship a decade and a half ago.
Still nothing today beats what I made for myself back then. Saylor could beat it handily. See https://sourceforge.net/projects/scutmonkey-md/

They're doomed to failure by virtue of not being Bitcoin. We already had the zero to one moment, not when Bitcoin was first released by Satoshi, but when Bitcoin grew beyond state capture without the guiding hand of 'founders, stakeholders, and investors'.
That will never be replicated, mainly because we now live in a world where Bitcoin exists.
Every project begins, by definition, as not Bitcoin. The slow grind to failure is merely a symptom of that fact.
My conversion to bitcoin maxi began when I first heard Saifedean unapologetically say "shitcoin" in his dulcit Lebanese American accent.
Or if I'm among futurist types, then 'Bitcoin is sixth wave but your coin is a regression to fifth wave and doomed to failure.'
Or 'ypur coin is Bitcoin reinvented for a fiat paradigm'... which is, ironically, an encouraging compliment because they don't know any better.
But LARP Coin is more punchy and likely to provoke discussion.
Bruh, that's savage, but since it's you... I'll take it.
