It’s not some that just happens. What has always led to this for me is genuine seeking of Him while reading the Bible or even just dwelling on Him and His ways in prayer etc.
I can read the same passage in the Bible ten times but each time I approach with a heart that’s patient and awaiting His insight while reading, new perspective is revealed. I know when He is speaking through His Word to me compared to when I’m just reading it with my own reasoning.
We can lie to ourselves but we can’t lie to Him. It’s not easy to put everything else on hold and enter into time with Him that is not pressured and without agenda. But that’s what He desires. Quality time and hears listening and heart seeking.
In that place there is so much beauty and intimacy. He is a good, good Father.
