If you log into nwc.getalby.com you will see a purple button "+ New Connection".

We had to stop Tor support if used with the Alby Account unfortunately due to too many malicious requests from Tor browsers. People can still use the Alby Extension with their own nodes of course.
Agree. Sadly DDoS and Bot protection is needed to keep user accounts secure.
