Yes, you can install the Alby extension and create an Alby Account inside. It will give you a lightning address that you can paste into a Nostr app. Which one do you use?
Did you install Alby from the link above in the Brave browser? It could be that it is hidden and you have to pin it to the browser bar. Click on the puzzle piece in the top right of your browser and select the pin next to the Alby icon.
You can check the box to remember you choice. 
If you use Alby, your key is encrypted and stored only locally.
Brave is based on Chromium. So you can just download Alby from here: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/alby-bitcoin-lightning-wa/iokeahhehimjnekafflcihljlcjccdbe

Think nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm is down, tried to send sats from WoS to alby and I failed, just got sats ok to WoS so I don’t think it’s them. 
Does this error persist? I was able to send a payment to my Alby lightning address.

If you have some BTC in Alby, you don't need to close a channel to get them into your cold wallet. You can use a swap service like nostr:npub1psm37hke2pmxzdzraqe3cjmqs28dv77da74pdx8mtn5a0vegtlas9q8970 to send your sats directly to your cold wallet.

WoS has a proper and easy to use mobile wallet app. With Alby we are not there yet. The Alby browser extension stores your Nostr private key and allows you to zap on Iris, Snort, Primal, Coracle and co. The Alby Account can be directly connected to mobile Nostr apps for an in-app zap experience.
