Yo, it is INCREDIBLE to play with bigger screen possibilities for nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl!! 🔥🔥👀
For now this 320x240 ili9341 is the sweet spot. Bigger, much easier to read, smooth framerate, and I've already adapted the code to handle the 3:2 aspect ratio.
The tiny Waveshare display hat has served us well, but a new wave of better, cooler build possibilities will be on the horizon!

That’s glorious! The SeedSigner IMAX
If your miner, stratum server and node are on the same local network, it seems like encryption is unnecessary?
Yeah, overheat mode sets the hash frequency and voltage to the lowest levels to prevent any more overheating. That will persist until you change it back in AxeOS.
The bitaxeGamma is go! The newest member in the #bitaxe lineup features the BM1370 ASIC from the Antminer S21 Pro. So far we've been able to pull 1 - 1.2 TH/s at around 15 J/TH from a single chip 🤯
We've got #bitcoin global freedom money to secure here, so everything is open source and permissionless 💪
#Bitaxe Supra hashing terribly after ICE cooler tower 'upgrade'. Not overheating, though… Could I have damaged the ASIC while installing it with those pink thermal pads?

It’s in overheat mode. Did you apply thermal paste? Try setting voltage and frequency to defaults, save and restart
I’m not really sure how to get parts in South Africa either! Have you talked with any local contact manufacturers? They may know how to source the parts.
Alternatively if you want to buy a few fully assembled Bitaxe you might talk to solosatoshi.com
Are you able to see the bitaxe disconnecting from your wifi AP logs? What brand router do you have? Bitaxe wifi is 2.4GHz only and kinda primitive.
This shouldn’t be happening. (It doesn’t on my end). I’d like to figure out what it is about your setup that is causing this. Are you on the OSMU Discord?

The best miner for behind the bookcase 😅

There have been bitaxe shares over 1T (not by me though 😅)
It should not get that hot. The kinda sounds like a bad barrel connector
No that’s not normal! Do you have multiple bitaxe stopping at the same time?
You need to setup a VPN to home network to access the bitaxe remotely..
Did the seller set you up with a new working PSU?
That’s not good! Did you talk to the seller about a replacement?
