#Bitcoin ⚡️⚡️⚡️

$10,000? Wtf were these people doing, redeeming recycled cans and bottles for sats?

Obligatory “Everyone’s LARPING except for me”

I had this same sentiment. Miss the bear market. The sats were cheaper and the signal was stronger.

Now we have Bitcoin LARPers reading the same repeated lines to fake Bitcoin affinity then marketing garbage chain.

This may not apply to everyone hodler in every situation.

I strongly suggest periodically checking and testing your ability to access your stack.

For me it’s being able to use my hw wallet to sign a transaction (but not broadcast it) as well as ensure alternative means are accessible for seed phrase retrieval…you know just incase the house burns down.

This can keep your sharp and avoid complacency if you need to move coins (our your private keys) in a hurry.

I have seen more sunrises in the past 2 years then all prior days probably.

Compared to most converse we’re used to, this is relatively B+ material.

Surprised that I’m not seeing “prez sez big scam!”

Interesting when you keep the following from shinobi in mind.

This is the final form of defeat from inflation. When all your money has been inflated away you’ve “gone Kirkland”

It’s perpetually the Stanford Marshmallow Test with sats.

Leave some sats on a table for 15 blocks at ATH and see who sells and who just does nothing…

It’s a weird question to me at this point when someone asks me if I’m gonna cash out.

Somewhere along my journey I decided that #Bitcoin was savings technology for me.

It’s my bank vault. It’s the digital equivalent of stashing cash under my mattress with the security of a trillion fort knoxes.

Plus, the question makes no sense if you ask anyone with assets if they are gonna cash out.

I don’t know about that for me.

Bitcoin is savings technology for me. My bank vault will always be holding some value.

I do think at some point exchanging dollars for Bitcoin will stop being a thing.

Hey nostr:npub1f6ugxyxkknket3kkdgu4k0fu74vmshawermkj8d06sz6jts9t4kslazcka any privacy tips when traveling internationally?

- encrypt laptop and turn off while traveling

- turn off biometrics on phone and only code unlock.

What else am I missing?

Not an expert but I’d figure you’d want to avoid taking any meaningful data you want to hide without on a device. Maybe access it securely remotely? Could be wrong.

Recent finished “Columbus and the quest for Jerusalem”.

Very interesting read that goes into so much that I didn’t know about Columbus, the man, and his voyages.

I’m not even mentioning what I “learned” in school which at best just glosses over it as just happening without real incident and at worst the broad brush “literal genocide” version from supposedly highly educated.

The stories and accounts preceding and surrounding the 4 voyages are fascinating.

Oh and the whole “quest for Jerusalem” piece is another rabbit hole to go down that probably shapes politics and sentiment today.

Every aspect was complicated and no amount of “woke” presentism will make that go away.

Recommend adding it to your reading list.
