когда в Харькове в 22 в феврале начались обстрелы я помню что я сидел дома и начал обдумывать. Например если меня на улице прибьет я и я валяюсь без сознания. я написал на бумажке телефоны с именами, положил в паспорт и носил с собой. потом я подумал что может быть ситуация когда нет времени даже шмотки собирать, я собрал сумку минимальную с самым необходимым. потом я подумал что скорее всего карты могут не работать надо шустро найти налички побольше.
и так далее. знаешь к чему я это все рассказываю? потом через год я говорил со знакомыми и оказалось никто таким не заморачивался ) ну типа по ситуации будем решать.
если я правильно понимаю ты имеешь в виду что люди не понимают и не пользуются той информацией которая им пришла, а потенциально она им нужна и будет полезна.
я когда то от какого то психолога слышал такую классификацию, он говорил что есть люди интересы которых находятся в пределах квартиры, в пределах города, в пределах страны и в пределах мира. понятно что щас интернет эти физические рамки поломал но идея в том что человек будет искать решение только тех проблем которые он видит, думал и замечал. когда я например говорю некоторым про ностр я понимаю что данный чувак - никогда не думал что у твиттера есть проблемы, никогда не видел недостатки твиттера, никогда не парился что кого то забанили. то понятно что он и не услышит ничего про ностр сколько ему не говори. потому что ну, типа все ж ок, все работает.

I've talk to a bunch of friends about #nostr. Most of them developers. I said about decentralization, middleman, algorithms, shadowban on twitter bla bla. Most of them said yeah we have heard that but never experienced any of this personally so why bother. One of them made npub, posted a few messages, no one replied or one-two. went back to twitter. because a lot of engagement there. you know being noticed is better than use freedom tech but alone ) Interesting that only one of them actually did action. Most said - yeah, interesting and then forgot.
I don't expect nostr to grow in months, maybe years. it depends a lot on whether or not there are major twitter fuckups. After which probably big twitter content creators move to nostr or at least try.
As example - there were a lot of info that telegram is not secure. there are info that Durov is still connected to russian oligarchs and take money from them. and I'm talking about ukraine telegram users and war with russia. so what? everyone still using telegram , because - "I am decent person and I don't have anything to hide".
maybe we shouldn't worry so much about nostr growth. just make it better and then will see. And I don't like when we constantly reassure that yeah nostr will win. maybe yes maybe no.
most of the people just react, you can't expect that many people will take action in advance based on someone else knowledge
