I love this photo
I've never planted garlic but it's something I want to try this fall. Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out
A beautiful morning to sit outside and enjoy my coffee before the kiddos wake up.

Part of doing what you love is admitting what you don't love.
I don't love gardening.
It's too much pressure for me.
I know a lot of people love it. I know in the homesteading/preparedness/self-sufficiency circles it is a big thing.
But I don't like it. It doesn't bring me joy.
It took me a long time to realize I don't have to love gardening.
It took me longer to stop trying to force myself to love it.
So this is my "garden," minus a couple tomato seedlings I planted way too late for the Southern planting zone I'm in.
This brings me joy.
And now, instead of trying to force myself to love something I don't, I can become better at what I love.

I never grew radishes because I don't like them, but I recently learned that their seed pods are edible and can be used in stir fries. Plus their flowers are pretty and they're good for pollinators.
I'm definitely adding it to my garden now. Good info.
I’ll just leave this right here for all you #grownostr people. My wife makes hand crafted jewelry. Check out her website but here is some pics of some of here stuff. Her website is below if you wanna check it out.

If you set up a lightning account I can zap this post. Love the jewelry.
Coffee at my mom's this morning ☕️

I think pepper plant leaves are pointer too.
And I'm the idiot who keeps planting seeds without labeling them. But this is a fun game too 🙃
Anyone want to take a guess as to what this plant might be?
Every fall I plant seeds thinking I will remember what I planted.
Every spring I forget.
Here's my mystery plant this spring. Maybe a pepper?

I grew up in Wisconsin. These look like home to me. Beautiful.
"Don't eat weird eggs" really is excellent advice. Words to live by for sure.
My homesteading group did a workshop on glassing eggs a couple weeks ago. The crockpot idea is awesome
I'm going to steal tou colender-as-planter idea
Almost twins

This looks like the setting for a book. Beautiful.
Pretty eggs, what kind of chickens do you raise?
