There are plenty of relief funds out there, such as the Red Cross, California Fire Foundation, and California Community Foundation, that anyone can contribute to. IMO, sharing photos of friends' beachfront properties (whether owned or rented) while asking for donations feels wrong. This heartbreaking disaster has impacted so many lives. Why not focus on contributing to a general recovery fund that helps everyone in need, rather than prioritizing the preservation of one lavish lifestyle?
