I build protocol-driven infrastructure for local resilience—tools, spaces, and funding rails that let communities run their own culture, news, food, and money. Old school: ryan@stateless.id

Just got back from gym and this is some hard puppy eyes for a walk.

Thinking of self hosting a digital assistant to find others ways to keep screens out of my face and another thing to host/capture my own data

Walking away from adtech internet has already been a huge win in the fight to reclaim time

For sure. Honestly put the reply out there as a reminder for folks. This whole space is filled with huge ideas and can be overwhelming. At the same time we have power individually. So many things we can't control... The list of what we can control brings some focus. Doing my part to avoid the ripping each other apart I guess like most of us.

I have moved to a majority bitcoin standard with no violence... I know it is not a requirement. As always beware those that overweigh violence.

Shocked that some web3 dick has not convinced the United Nation to turn itself into a metaverse project yet. This is so stupid

This all day. Biggest blocker to adoption is not technical adoption we have to grow past a lot of the current thought leaders that enjoy identity politics. I can teach people how to use lighting....but the cringe is harder to wash off.

I have been doing this and it works pretty well and I am on the road a lot. I do have 1 work phone that has bailed me out a couple times but...

https://calyxinstitute.org/ I picked up their 5g modem you pay upfront for the year but it is registered to a privacy focused non profit. All my devices tether to it.. My newest (degoogled)phone has only ever been connected to it... Signal/SimpleX/Matrix handle my voice/video depending on the community

Just migrated off 2 rpis to a mini PC. Might rebuild the RPI to run single services

So I migrated my nip-5 to a TLD based on handshake. It is a little clunky and needs to be a lot better. Anyone else out there interestedisn testing some features to leverage HNS and NOSTR

Handshake.org

Ereaders are not a horrible nostr/amethyst experience. Not all the devices make easy but once it is setup I like it.

nostr:npub14mcddvsjsflnhgw7vxykz0ndfqj0rq04v7cjq5nnc95ftld0pv3shcfrlx nostr:npub1c878wu04lfqcl5avfy3p5x83ndpvedaxv0dg7pxthakq3jqdyzcs2n8avm really great WBD I agree that NOSTR is giving people another bite at the bitcoin technology apple. Feels like this bull season with be the most diverse yet and not on accident. Keep up the great work

Beagles, outdoors off to a good start

I was talking with a friend about this earlier this week. Those blue checks seem more embarrassing the longer I am away from that network.
