1. Bitcoin is a new form of human language with the singular purpose of communicating value.
2. Due to its revolutionary design, Bitcoin value exchange occurs peer to peer and cannot be stopped or coopted by third parties (gov inflation, chargebacks, account freezes, etc). Unlike traditional language, the message is never subject to misinterpretation.
3. Value exchange is a building block upon which all human interaction occurs. Imagine a world where this cornerstone of civilization is all signal and no noise. Instead of the compounding inefficiencies of fiat we now have uncorrupted and instantaneous global value communication.
So yeah, I’m gonna go with Bitcoin all day long. ✌️₿

welcome rudy! great to see you over here 🌅
interesting idea… also any market cap number is misleading for the simple fact that you can never sell ALL of an mcap good at the current price. supply demand curve and so on.
My favorite way to get cardio is running and gunning in the great outdoors. The MP5's firepower is quite weak, but it more than makes up for it by just being a fun and smooth gun. #gunstr https://video.nostr.build/050396368b197b783a27b31b1052c9c9cae50ce1c9788fd8de03627d97339d00.mp4
looks like fun! wish i had a place nearby were I could do that.
The US Gov can sell ALL 200,000 of their confiscated Bitcoin but the market easily soaked this amount up in just 8 months last year.
Peanuts in the grand scheme of things; Bitcoin is still the best way to free yourself from the 💵 fiat ponzi and grow your purchasing power.⚡️₿⚡️

nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m ‘s recent explanation of nostr was a banger. < 5 min high level overview that was ELI5 and hit on all the important differences between nostr and traditional social media.
great explainer, well done nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m
100% agree; still I think a slow but steady migration (push the system we have towards Bitcoin using whatever tools at our disposal) is better than a hard cutover.
vance is already there given some recent speeches he’s made.
Yeah could see it, although at a much lower probability, given the continual attacks we’ve seen from the dems and fed/treasury over the last four years…
Which candidate / party do you think is our best choice for Bitcoin for the long-term?
fits the moment; alongside angsty chords of disillusion and rebellion is the deep undercurrent of sadness. 🙏🇺🇸
generating revenue by selling their own token is effectively fund-raising, but in a sneaky way (by diluting existing token holder value.) and if they can’t fund-raise in btc, it doesn’t say much about their confidence in the product.
nice. i like doing 36 hour fasts once a week. for me, the hardest part is around 18 hours and doing some light cardio then actually helps reduce the hunger.
Sorry my bad... after checking it looks like Obsidian is *not* open source. However Logseq most definitely is. Another open source project that I've had my eye on and you may want to check out is SilverBullet: https://silverbullet.md/ . I really like the server-first PWA design, but I've got so much momentum with Logseq that I haven't been able to do a proper evaluation yet.
shower (and travel) inspiration is the best, keep going 💡💪
I get the sense that a LOT of their early users switched to open source alternatives... primarily Logseq and Obsidian. Logseq is now my daily driver for "Personal Knowledge Management" and I really love the forward and backward linking capabilities. But it is a pain in the butt to use on mobile and to get syncing to work well.

.. going out to the gym, should I eat something first or just fast through it.
